About the Role
We are seeking a Reaction to Fire Engineer to join our Fire Testing Department. This is a hands-on technical position responsible for conducting, analyzing, and reporting fire tests in accordance with international standards such as EN 13823, EN ISO 11925-2, EN ISO 1716, and ISO 5659-2. The role includes preparing and conditioning samples, operating and maintaining test equipment, and ensuring that all testing complies with ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory requirements.
Responsibilities
• Perform reaction to fire tests according to EN and ISO standards.
• Prepare test samples and operate fire testing equipment.
• Analyze data and prepare accurate technical reports.
• Communicate test schedules, technical details, and results with clients.
• Support continuous improvement and R&D for fire testing methods.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, Civil, or Fire Safety Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in fire testing or fire safety engineering.
• Knowledge of EN, ASTM, and UL fire test standards.
• Strong analytical, technical, and reporting skills.
• Proficient in English and familiar with data acquisition systems.
• Detail-oriented and able to work well in a team environment.
